Following the successful hosting of Nigeria’s first-ever tech ecosystem mixer, DICE, Beyond Limits, a pan-African organisation at the forefront of driving digital transformation, excellence, and growth in individuals and organisations – has revealed that preparations are in top gear for the second edition to hold in April 2024.
DICE, an acronym for Digital Innovation and Creative Excellence, is Beyond Limits’ platform for fostering networking and collaboration among Africa’s dreamers in the technological innovation space to engender the cross-fertilisation of ideas towards more significant impact.
The upcoming edition will continue the tradition set with the inaugural edition held in November 2023 in Lagos by attracting participants across Africa’s creative industry, providing a platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and innovation.
Hosting a diverse array of creative industry practitioners (filmmakers, actors, performing artists, content creators, etc), tech founders, innovators, corporate leaders, investors, digital agencies, influencers, and policymakers within the creative industry, participants will engage in robust conversations through panel discussions with key players and enablers in the creative ecosystem, success stories, fireside chats, creative performances, and networking opportunities.
Founder and CEO of Beyond Limits Dr Juliet Ehimuan, said, “We are delighted about the success of the DICE 1.0 mixer and are looking to build on the gains from that edition by bringing the ecosystem together yet again to foster new connections, innovation, and knowledge sharing.”
“Although Africa’s creative scene is booming, its economic impact still needs to be improved upon compared to other parts of the world. At DICE 2.0, we will explore the roadblocks that hold back our creative goldmine as well as opportunities around funding, regulation, and other factors,” she added.
Already billed to lead the conversations in this second edition are seasoned industry experts and thought leaders such as Nigeria’s Honourable Minister of Arts, Culture, and The Creative Economy, H.M.
