Founders Connect Live Returns with ‘The Builders Summit’ and Startup Innovation Challenge

Due to popular demand, Founders Connect Live returns for an even more electrifying event on Saturday, May 25, 2024.

In partnership with Africhange, this highly anticipated event promises to be a convergence of entrepreneurs, investors, innovators, creators, and tech talents who will come together for an exciting day of invaluable networking, thought-provoking conversations, and innovative insights.

Building on the resounding success of the inaugural edition held in July 2023, this year’s edition, The Builders Summit, promises to be bigger and better.

This year’s event recognises that the journey of creation and growth is paved not only by founders but also by the builders – the dedicated operators, the creative problem-solvers, the investors who fuel innovation, and the talents who turn ideas into reality.

Some speakers to expect at the event include Sim Shagaya, Tosin Olaseinde, Adia Sowho, Babajide Duroshola, Lexi Novitske, Ife Durosinmi-Etti, and Feyikemi Abudu, among others. The lineup of speakers includes founders, operators, creators and investors, with topics deliberately curated to be relevant to everyone in attendance – be it founders, talents, creators, the media or investors.

Other activities to expect at the event include live interviews, keynote sessions, panel sessions, breakout sessions, games, photo booths, and food and drinks. Tickets for The Builders Summit are now available at www.foundersconnect.xyz/builders-summit.

In conjunction with this event, Founders Connect is also sponsoring the Startup Innovation Challenge. Early-stage startup founders will have the opportunity to present their creative ideas at the challenge, with the chance for startups to win $1,000 in equity-free cash, over $300,000 in rewards, and connections to investors and business leaders.

The winning prizes include $1,000 cash, $25,000 fee-free Paystack processing, up to $100,000 in AWS credits, and up to $200,000 in Google Cloud credits. Other benefits include a one-year Intercom pro subscription, AWS cost optimization consultation with Vontech, a one-year pro

subscription from Simpu, access to a Founders Factory Africa masterclass, 6 months of free PR services from Reneé PR, and an interview feature on Founders Connect.

“We are deliberate about creating a platform that highlights innovation, connects entrepreneurs with investors and business leaders, and nurtures promising businesses,” said Peace Itimi, the founder of Founders Connect.

Interested founders are encouraged to apply before April 28, 2024, at www.foundersconnect.xyz/startup-challenge.
