The Minister of the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology, (FMIST) Chief Uche Nnaji has said the ministry is poised to guide the country into a new world economy rooted in knowledge, innovation, science and technology.
The Minister stated this while addressing the management and staff of the ministry at the official handover by the Permanent Secretary on Tuesday, in Abuja.
Nnaji called for stronger collaboration between the ministry and its parastatals through effective communication and performance.
He urged the management and staff of the ministry to “work hard for the prosperity of our great nation.”
Welcoming the minister on behalf of the staff and management, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, James Sule described him as a philanthropic man that is ready to offer his wealth of experience to the ministry by synergising with all stakeholders in the sector in order to achieve the mandate set by President Tinubu.
